Come and explore the world of Georgian entertainments at the Holburne for our Museums at Night evening, part of Party in the City, the biggest free event in Bath celebrating the opening of the Bath International Music Festival>>
Step back in time to the age of gambling and scandal by trying your hand at some card games set against the backdrop of our stunning picture gallery, or else enjoy some Georgian outdoor games such as badminton, croquet or game of graces. Don't miss the Bath Minuet Company at 6.30pm in the Ballroom Gallery and Georgian Card Games from 7 to 9pm.
The cafe will also be open all evening with refreshments for sale and the performances below.

Lánre returns to this year's Party in the City with music that she describes as acoustic soul with influences from her Nigerian (Yoruba) heritage of storytelling and folk music. She has played at venues such as Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Room and Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and is currently recording her new EP, Home.

Playing lively traditional music on fiddle and guitar, they have been described as musicians who "tell stories with their melodies".

Pocket Penguin is a London-based acoustic duo established by Ayumi Toyama and Ryusuke Koarashi. Pocket Penguin has been mainly focusing on exploring possibility of combination of two intimate instruments-melodica and guitar-by both composing and adapting various music from all over the world.
So join us for a night of extravagance, fun and entertainment and truly step back into the atmosphere of Georgian Bath.
