Bath’s Museums Working Together

We are delighted to have been awarded a grant from Arts Council England’s Museum resilience fund for ‘Bath’s Museums Working Together’. Building on the success of the past two years in developing Bath’s audiences, this grant enables us to formalise the partnership between the independent museums in Bath (American Museum in Britain, the four museums run by Bath Preservation Trust, and the Holburne Museum) and those run by Bath and North East Somerset Council (the Fashion Museum and the Victoria Art Gallery). This is an exciting opportunity to present a joined-up vision and profile across all 16 of Bath’s exceptional museums.

Phil Gibby, Area Director, South West, Arts Council England, said: ‘Bath’s museums are amongst the best in the world, with an amazingly diverse range of rich collections to explore. We’re delighted to be supporting them with this award of £138,150 through our Museum Resilience Fund.’
