The diamond makes a fitting subject as a symbol of endurance and longevity for the special summer exhibition at Buckingham Palace in the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Year. Focussing on some of the most famous diamonds in royal possession the curator of the exhibition, Caroline de Guitaut, will explain the history behind many of the exhibits, including diamond jewellery belonging to Her Majesty and diamond-encrusted works of art in the Royal Collection.
