What Are You Like? from House of Illustration
Free
Based on a Victorian parlour game people in the public eye were invited to create a self-revealing artwork by illustrating 8 of their favourite things from a list of 12 including their favourite animal, book, item of clothing, comfort, food, pastime, place, possession, music, shoes, weather or pet aversion (the thing they love to hate!) The result is a delightfully idiosyncratic exhibition, organised by the House of Illustration, which includes work by illustrators such as Lauren Child, David Shrigley, Posy Simmonds, Glen Baxter, Shirley Hughes, as well as work by musicians, designers, writers and artists. Illustration below by Mary Fedden.
