This year we are celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Kennet & Avon Canal with all sorts of canal themed FREE activities. Bring a picnic and join us for live music from the Mandibles!

•    Dress up as a Bargee Family and have your photo taken
•    Paint a flowerpot with big fat flowers
•    See the Great Xa’s Magic Show by the waterside
•    Make a hobby horse to pull your boat
•    Be a gongoozler - explore the canal with a new fun trail
•    Paint your face with castles and flowers
•    Dress a peg-doll as a bargee
•    Make a sunbonnet for those scorching days
•    Refreshments available in the Gardener's Lodge and from Charlie Brown's

For a small fee: a ride on a vintage swing boat, an energetic shake-up on the bouncy castle and a celebration of the canal wouldn't be complete without a boat trip on the Lady Lena with Mrs Bill the Barge-man's wife.
