Holburne Museum Lantern Procession 2012

Wear you wellies and a raincoat to join in and enjoy the spectacle of this year’s bigger and brighter Holburne Lantern Procession as we celebrate the opening of the Bath Christmas Market. The Procession will travel down Great Pulteney Street, pass through the Christmas Market and end with a grand musical finale in Parade Gardens.
Lantern holders should gather at the Museum from 4.30pm for a 5pm Procession start. You'll also be able to enjoy light projections by Transient Grafitti>>
Lantern Making Kits are available from the Museum Information Desk for £1 from 5 November
Lantern holders should gather at the Museum from 4.30pm for a 5pm Procession start. The Procession will leave the Holburne Museum at 5pm by the exit on Sydney Place, crossing Darlington Street. The Procession will then walk on the south side of Great Pulteney Street crossing Edward Street, William Street and Johnstone Street. Crossing over Pulteney Bridge, the Procession will walk along Grand Parade crossing onto Orange Grove. The procession will parade down Cheap Street turning left onto Stall Street and then left again through the portico into the Abbey Churchyard area. The Procession will rejoin Orange Grove by the Fountain and then re-cross the pedestrian crossing to enter Parade Gardens.
