Recollection
Creative Workshops for People who Experience Memory Problems and their Carers

FREE – PLACES AVAILABLE for a 6 week project starting 11 November 2021

Recollection is a FREE group for peoplwho experience memory problems and their carers, run by art psychotherapist Rose Pickett and artist Mary Caron-Courtney.
It provides an opportunity for participants and their carers to spend time together enjoying museum collections as a focus for inspiration to explore, develop and express creative skills. The sessions aim to be relaxing and enjoyable with afternoon tea plus art and craft activities on offer. No experience necessary!

“This has been a lovely space and time to be, enjoy art, and meeting people in the same position as oneselves that has helped in our wellbeing and coping with what we have to deal with.” – Carer

Recollection first ran as a pilot project in 2014; this is celebrated in a short film produced by the Therapeutic Media Company.
