| Notes | This is Sir William Holburne's own copy of the rules and regulations of the Burlington Fine Arts Club. He is listed as a member in the back of the booklet. Holburne's election to the Club was a recognition in artistic circles of his status as a significant collector. The Club then counted among its members J.M. Whistler, D.G. Rossetti, Frederick Lord Leighton, John Ruskin and Thomas Gambier Parry. |
