Sir William Holburne is here photographed with two pieces of porcelain from his collection. Both pieces are attributed to Chelsea-Derby, c.1775. To the left is a figurine of Neptune (C228) and to the right Time clipping Cupid's wings (C222). 

This  is one of several identical photographs in the Collection. Holburne was also photographed in the same pose but bareheaded (L630).
