Primary Schools

Our workshops all involve creative activities and the development of practical skills. They also encourage children to build their vocabulary and their confidence in talking about both the Museum collection and their own work.
The maximum number per workshop is 32 but two workshops can be run per day; we will advise on activities for the rest of your group.

Please click on the links below for details of our workshops.  If none of them are exactly what you are looking for, please call to discuss how we might meet your requirements. We can offer everything from a workshop in basic French led by Queen Charlotte to inspiration for a whole term’s work from a single object or painting.

Our workshops can also be adapted for small groups of pupils with special educational needs, giving added emphasis to sensory experience. The Museum is fully accessible.
