In our shop you’ll find art related ideas, beautiful art themed books,souvenirs and gifts you won’t find anywhere else in Bath. Inspired by our collection of decorative art and eighteenth-century paintings, our range of jewellery and home-ware includes quirky teapot necklaces, pewter spoons, silver toast racks, sandalwood fans and even Japanese netsuke, carved from boxwood.

The Curator’s Choice is our most popular range. It’s a series of one-off vintage china sourced by our decorative arts curator, Matthew Winterbottom. From fine bone china teapots, cups and saucers, nineteenth century vases, sugar bowls and Spode plates.  Prices start at £25.

Hand-made silk scarves have been specially commissioned for the Museum, using a cherub detail from a sculpted baroque cabinet £49. We sell Museum bags and linen teatowels with an image of the Georgian facade or an image of the Lady Taking Tea silhouette for £11.95 and £7.95 respectively. Colourful tin plates decorated with historic designs, including one with our very own ‘tobacco leaf’, are practical, beautiful and inexpensive at only £5.95.

Best selling books have included Presence: The Art of Portrait Sculpture, written by the Museum’s own Director, Xa Sturgis;  and What are you like?  an illustrated catalogue of self revealing artwork by people in the public eye. Our Museum Souvenir Guide Book is also very popular and tells the full story of the Museum, collection and building for £9.95

To encourage children to make the most of their natural talent, there are art activity boxes, the size of pencil tins on different themes, from finger printing to wildlife to fairy tales, perfect as small presents.
