Our lunchtime concerts bring the instruments in the Holburne's collection to life. This Spring we present a series of concerts exploring the delights of our fortepiano (Viennese c. 1795). Made by Johann Schantz (1762-1828), the fortepiano is one of only four of its kind known to survive.
George Ross (baroque cello)
Michael Maxwell Steer (fortepiano)
Boccherini Sonata 3 in G
Michel Corrette, Les délices de la solitude
Early sonatas for cello and piano featuring the 1820 Corsby cello on loan from Cherubim Music Trust.
