Visiting the Holburne Museum

Planning Your Visit

The Holburne Museum sits within its own grounds at the end of Great Pulteney Street with Sydney Gardens behind.
We are open FREE of charge Monday to Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday (and Bank Holidays) 11am to 5pm.
There is a charge for our temporary exhibitions.
We are closed 24, 25, 26 December and 1 January (Please remember that Bank Holidays we open at 11am)

Our Picture Gallery wll be closed on Monday 20 February. This means our eighteenth-century portraits, amongst other works, will not be available to view.

Bargain Hunt will also be filming at the Holburne on Wednesday 22 February. We will keep disruption to a minimum, but galleries will be closed for an hour at a time during filming throughout the day.

You can join the Friends of the Holburne and support the Museum from as little as £25 a year. You will receive free admission to our exhibitions in addition to many other benefits.

Our Garden Cafe is open during Museum opening hours serving fresh, local and delicious cakes, fairly traded coffee and tea and an abundance of freshly prepared dishes throughout the day. Last orders are taken at 4.30pm (or half an hour before we close)
