Adult Workshop: Ceramics- Blue and White Pots

Join award-winning artist, Jo Taylor, for a special clay workshop inspired by Grayson Perry and the Holburne’s ceramic collection. Create your own unique pot, using specialist coiling and sprigging techniques and working with blue and white clay for an elegant finish. The workshop will include a visit to the galleries to draw inspiration from the ceramics on display, including examples by Grayson Perry and the historic Wedgwood and Sévres factories.

All materials included.

Please note: Your pot will be fired and ready for collection from the Holburne four weeks after the workshop.

Jo Taylor is a ceramic artist whose work examines the relationship between artistry and architecture. She combines techniques (hand building, extrusion, potter’s wheel) to create unique pieces by moving traditional ceramic skills away from the functional. Her work has been been exhibited around the UK, in Europe & the US and is held in a number of public and private collections.
