Recollection is a FREE group for people who experience memory problems and their carers, run by art psychotherapist Rose Pickett and artist Mary Caron-Courtney.
It provides an opportunity for participants and their carers to spend time together enjoying museum collections as a focus for inspiration to explore, develop and express creative skills.
The sessions aim to be relaxing and enjoyable with afternoon tea plus art and craft activities on offer. No experience necessary!
To book contact Rose Pickett on 01225 371414 or email@example.com or ask your care coordinator to contact her on your behalf.
Recollection is a partnership project between the Holburne, Bath Preservation Trust and Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust .
The project is generously supported by an individual donation.
One carer stated:
“It’s re-introduced him to his love of art” and “It’s great to realise that you’re not alone”.
A film of the project, made by the Bath-based Therapeutic Media Company can be viewed on YouTube.
