Recollection: a project for people with dementia and their carers
Recollection is a FREE group for people with dementia and their carers. It is a partnership with Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) and Bath Preservation Trust (No. 1 Royal Crescent).
The project normally runs for 1 afternoon a week for a 12 week block – with 6 weeks at the Holburne and 6 at No. 1 Royal Crescent. You don’t have to commit to every session.

Thursdays: September: 6, 13, 20, 27 and October: 4, 11
2pm – 4pm
The Holburne Museum, Great Pulteney Street, BATH
Thursdays – October: 18, 25 and November: 1, 8, 15, 22

Recollection will provide an opportunity for participants and their carers to spend time together enjoying museum collections as a focus for inspiration to explore, develop and express creative skills. The session aims to be relaxing and enjoyable with afternoon tea plus art and craft activities on offer.(No experience necessary).
One carer stated:
“It’s re-introduced him to his love of art” and “It’s great to realise that you’re not alone”.
