If you’re looking for a venue for your special day, the Holburne Museum could be the perfect location. Set at the top of one of Bath’s grandest avenues and surrounded by the splendour of the historic Sydney Pleasure Gardens, the Holburne makes for a truly breathtaking venue.

The museum offers picture-perfect classic Regency architecture (you may recognise the façade as ‘Lady Danbury’s House’ in Netflix’s Bridgerton), which combined with an award-winning modern glass extension at the rear, provide a range of flexible spaces.

Whether you are looking for a venue for your ceremony, your evening reception or both, we will ensure that your day runs smoothly and is a truly memorable occasion.

You can legally exchange your vows and rings, cementing your partnership in beautiful style in our galleries, whether you are planning an intimate gathering or a more formal ceremony.

Ballroom (seats 100 people)
This Gallery lends itself to more intimate ceremonies. With large windows, gilded chandeliers overhead and breathtaking views over Great Pulteney Street from the balcony, the Ballroom provides the perfect platform for memorable wedding photographs.

Picture Gallery (seats 100 People)
Enjoy your wedding ceremony surrounded by the finest examples of British portraiture including works by Gainsborough, Zoffany and Reynolds. Our Picture Gallery offers a truly spectacular space to celebrate with your friends and family.

RECEPTIONS

Once you have exchanged your vows, you can head down to the Garden Café and terrace for your evening reception. Enjoy the freedom to explore the lovely private Gardens, backed by the stylish glass extension. We have space for DJ set ups, photo booths and an open bar, providing the perfect location to celebrate, dance and conclude your special day.

All our menus are freshly prepared and our in-house catering team will work with you to design the perfect menu for your guests, from a Champagne reception, hot or cold buffet, or more relaxed BBQ on our large Terrace.

If you have exchanged your vows in another of Bath’s amazing venues, you can still book the Garden Café for your evening reception.
