*Update (Feb 25): New Mums Sanctuary is not currently accepting referrals*

Regrettably we are unable to offer New Mums Sanctuary in 2025. We hope to be able to return in 2026 and will confirm dates for groups as soon as possible.

New Mums Sanctuary is a supported, creative postnatal group for new mums struggling with their mental health. The group offers a warm and nurturing space, in which to talk, drink tea and enjoy gentle craft-based activity together with other mums experiencing similar challenges.

What?

  • Small and intimate group for up to 8 mums and pre-crawling babies
  • Chat, sing and make a singing sack (all materials and encouragement provided!) while your baby enjoys sensory play
  • 6 sessions on Monday afternoons (starting 14th Oct)
  • FREE to attend
  • Facilitated by experienced early years Arts practitioners Skylarks Creativity with a dedicated support worker

Such a wonderful experience. I looked forward to Monday afternoons as I felt so looked after. The space is so safe and nurturing.

It went beyond my expectations. I have been given a new hobby that I love!
