Nicholas Pope In Conversation with George Vasey
Join Nicholas Pope and curator George Vasey for a conversation on the artist’s current exhibition at the Holburne Portraits of a Marriage and recent projects with The Sunday Painter and Roche Court. George Vasey is an independent curator who has recently worked with organisations including The Welcome Collection, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, and Chapter Arts, Cardiff. He has written extensively on contemporary art for Frieze, Art Review, Art Monthly, and OOF Magazine. Nicholas Pope is a leading figure in contemporary British sculpture who has shown work at the Venice Biennale, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, National Museum of Wales, and Salisbury Cathedral. His work is held in numerous public and private collections, including Tate.
The conversation will be led by Will Cooper, curator of Contemporary Programmes at the Holburne Museum.
