LEARNING SYMPOSIUM for Heritage, Health and Arts professionals and everyone interested in therapeutic creativity and care in museums.

The Holburne Museum in partnership with Arts & Health South West

Friday 29 April, 10 am – 4.15 pm       Tickets – £35 per person (includes welcome refreshments and free entry to the museum for the day)

Museums care for their collections but they also care about people.

This cross-sector event will bring together museums, arts organisations and mental health professionals to talk about how care is manifested in museums. With a focus on creativity and therapeutic spaces we’ll examine good practice, share learning and hear from people who have participated in ‘heritage and health’ programmes .

Come to be inspired and supported, build networks and grab some practical ideas!

The museum is fully accessible. Free parking is available to Blue Badge holders in the car park, which is located directly next to the museum.

This symposium accompanies our current exhibition People Make Museums (27 January- 2 May)
