Running from 10 July for two weeks, this year’s festival will once more transform the museum’s gardens into a beautiful outdoor theatre seating 400 guests, complete with deck chairs, flags, bunting, festoon lights and a superb garden bar.
Now with covered seating*, whatever the weather, shade from the hot sun or a roof from the rain, the Garden Theatre Festival is ready for a British summer of theatre! Sip a cooling drink under a warm sunset, and relax on your rolled-out blanket, at Bath’s only open-air theatre festival.
The festival brings the best in outdoor entertainment from across the UK, including acts from the local area, right to the heart of Bath. Be immersed in the world of Shakespeare galore, Peter Pan, Sherlock Holmes, slapstick, laughter, and so much more.
Bring your own blankets, cushions and camping chairs or hire a deck chair from the festival. Grab a drink from the bar enjoy a pre-show meal or festival street food and discover the best outdoor theatre the UK has to offer.
